Irwin Brown May 1965
Irwin Brown and his wife were fishing before the cost of Long Key, Florida when Brown, who was looking over the water saw a gully just in front of his boat. It was a straight, clearly marked off gully of 1 meter depth and 6 meters wide in the water. Brown noticed that it looked like a boat's wake but it was totally free of turbulence and stayed invariable at its place. While looking the boat reached the gully suddenly. The boat dived into it which caused he and his wife fell and broke two ribs. Brown jumped up and looked for the strange gully but did not see it again. He was not able to find the cause.
