Understanding Weather Phenomenon:
El Niņo and La Niņa

There seems to always be a
certain amount of chaos with all of natures processes.
Weather can be thought of as the sum of many overlaid and
interacting forces. Two such forces, that have very
significant roles are El Niņo and La Niņa. These particular
interactions are poorly understood, but as scientists begin
to study these events, we become more aware of their
intricacies. El Niņo and La Niņa although being irregular,
are both cyclic in nature, where as El Niņo occurs every 2-7
years, and La Niņa occurring after some, but not all El
Niņos. This site will take a look at past El Niņos and La
Niņas, compare the present predictions for this year to the
actual events across the nation, and show the reasons for the
current forecasts of each.
