The software program I use is called First Resorts Software. It enables our company to make reservations. The software also includes accounting programs, word processing capability, and sales tracking/commission computing capability. We are on a network of several offices. Each computer has Windows (some Win95 and some Win 3.1). The software enables us to print labels for mailings as well as for our "check in packages."
I also have a communication software program (pcAnywhere) enabling me to connect to my work computer from home. I am "on call" seven days and nights a week, when I get calls at home with problems of property owners and tenants. Now, I can dial into my work computer from home through pcAnywhere . It enables me to handle questions efficiently from home. That's been a real boost this year!
