A computer can be considered either a complex network of advanced circuitry, or a group of components. Some of the components that we use the most are the motherboard, the CPU, the floppy drive, the hard drive, the mouse, the monitor, and the keyboard. These components are made up of transistors, resistors, and capacitors. These are electrical components, they send high and low voltage for the computer to do its job. Microscopic versions of these components are found in chips or microchips and are called integrated circuits.
