We Are the World

After the 1984 Grammy awards a song was written by Lionel Ritchie and Michael Jackson. It was called "We Are the World" and it was written for the Ethiopian famine. Famous artists like Diana Ross, Paul Simon of Simon and Garfunkel, Billy Joel, Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Kenny Rogers, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Jackson and Cindi Lauper sang separate parts of the song, then sang in unison for the chorus.
