Louise Hoffsten

Louise was born 1965. She was brought up in Linköping and her father played Jazz. Louise is a Swedish singer and tunewriter that can play the harmonica. She has recorded the albums Eld och vatten and Yeah, Yeah (both 1989 with Swedish texts) The English album Message Of Love (1991).

She got a lot of attention when she played the tune "Hit me with your Lovething" which made her break through commercially with the fifth album Rhythm Blonde (1994). And the following six (1995) weren't quite as successful, but it did contain the tune "Dance on Your Grave" wich was used in the American TV-series "Melrose Place."

In the beginning Louise was mostly connected with her rock tunes. Today she also plays jazz and Swedish folk tunes..
