Jerry Williams

Jerry Williams (real name Erik Fernström) was born in 1942. He has been a  rock singer since the beginning of the 60's. Jerry has been recording for 30 years.

He has recorded songs like "Keep On," "Cottonfields" and "I Can Jive.

In the 60's he was on the Swedish top ten chart five times. When the Beatles hit Sweden in 1964 he refused to compromise. He kept playing the same old rock'n'roll. I gave no hits but he still could make his living playing.

In 1965 Bildjournalen, the teenage paper wrote an biography comparing him to other Swedish rock kings. They had all been forced to go back to their normal jobs.
