Interview with Tobias Berg, Denmark RR: What types of music do you listen to? (Example: Pop, Reggae, Heavy Metal, Punk, Ska, Industrial, Rap, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Electronica, Gothic, New Age, Alternative, Classical, Country, Folk, Tribal, Jungle, Oldies, etc.)

Tobias: My favorite music have always been Rock n roll. In the last couple of years I've opened my horizont a lot though. I now practical listing to everything. Classical, Jazz, New age etc. Just resently I've started to like Scottish-Irish traditional music with backpipes and so on. It's really cool and there's a lot of neat melodies in it.

RR: Why do you listen to music?

Tobias: I think that music can reflect every emotion and enhance it. Every song I like have a meaning to me, it can be relaxing, haunting and so on. I just like letting the music float and let my mind do the same.

RR: Quote a line or two of music that affected you in some way and tell why and how.

Tobias: Get in the Ring by GNR, when I were in 8. or 9. grade I was really tired of school and I thought the hole "System of Society" was made to piss me off. This song express anger in a way I could identify with.

RR: Describe and event or experience in your life that you think showed the relationship of music and people. (Example: a concert, dance, on the road) Try to be as specific as you can.

Tobias: When I sit down with my guitar and play out whatever I feel at that moment. Music is one of the things that draw people together. No matter country, langauge or culture music is music. The styles is different, but in all ways it is used to create an emotion in some way. It's like an international langauge.

RR: What role does music play in your life?

Tobias: I have listened to music ever since I can remember. I play the guitar and have done that for 9 years. I used to play drums in a band as well and I play bass and a little piano.
