The first time I heard Blood Hound Gang was on the radio. They played Fire Water Burn. I didn’t know who they were. Then my friends little brother Vicke played the record and I thought they sucked. Then Max, my little brother bought the record and I liked them. It was when I heard the texts that I started to like them but the music still sucks. So it’s all about getting to know their texts.

Blood Hound Gang was a Depeche Mode cover band. At first they had nowhere to play. So they had to play at Evil J’s house. That worked until the floor suddenly caved down to the basement. Their first album was1994 EP Dingleberry Haze (Cheese Factory) and second 1995's Use Your Fingers

(Sony/Columbia/Underdog/Cheese Factory).

At first there was some other guys playing in the BHG but they left. Lupus and Jimmy Pop where the ones that stayed. In the fall of 1995 BHG went on a tour. Jimmy Pop called on his friend Evil Jared from Temple University; where Evil Jared had received a degree in Business and Jimmy Pop had received a degree in Mass Communications and Minor History . Evil J had just graduated and he was fraudulently collecting unemployment money, so he was free to do back-up vocals and entertain BHG crowds. Evil Jared's vision of 'entertainment' included eating live mice on-stage and allowing audience members to throw darts into his back for a prize. Personally I think that is gross.

After the tour, Jimmy Pop, Lupus and Evil Jared continued to play together.

Spanky G, who played together with Evil Jared's in Vaginal Bloodphart, joined the resurgent BHG soon after.

The last member, D.J. Q-Ball joined after being recommended by his cousin, who just happened to take the BHG's passport photos prior to a French tour in 1995. Jimmy and Lupus gave the others vacation and spent two months finishing the record One Fierce Beer Coaster. That was the first record with none- synthetic music. They actuallt played for real.

If you like the outside of one fierce beer coaster, you are going to love to wear one of these lovley creations, it’s forest green in sizes L-XL.

Or maybe one of many nice stickers.

What I like about BHG!

I like BHG’s texts because they are so freeminded. They don’t care about the consequences. But they are controversial. American mothers are consequently complaining. So they have this beautiful sign on their record cover.

Bloodhound Gang's mission to entertain is their sworn oath to offend everybody.

Jimmy explains, "We try to hurt everyone's feelings; it makes us feel better about ourselves."

Like this:

"I hate you but you hate yourself to. I hate to be honest but I’d hate to be you. And I don’t give a damn if you don’t like me. Cause I don’t like you cause you’re not like me."

"Do you really mean all the things you sing?

He said:

I don’t recall singing anything I don’t mean.

But I think he is lying. Nobody is so stupid.

I wrote another mail wondering about more fact and he sure was helpful. He wrote

You sure can notice he doesn’t write the songs.
