The Different Kinds of Skin Cancer Known to Man

1. Basal Cell Carcinoma: The most common skin cancer that when left untreated can lead to the loss of specific organ functions.

2. Malignant Melanoma: This skin cancer occurs in melanocytes and is a very potentially life threatening form of cancer.

3. Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A fast growing cancer that can invade the lymph glands and other important systems

   Other specific skin cancer diseases exist, but they all are very specific skin cancers and fall under one of the three categories above. Certain diseases are listed in all of the above skin cancers.
