W hen Charon was first discovered there was some debate over if it was a satellite of Pluto or an entirely new planet. The photographs taken by the Hubble Space Telescope seems to suggest that Charon is in fact just a satellite. Even today this is highly disputed among astronomers. But, when Pluto and Charon are visited by the Pluto Express spacecraft in 2001 all this controversy should be cleared up.
