Admiral Nimitz Museum This Museum consists of several parts: The restored Nimitz Hotel, The Garden of Peace (a gift from the Japanese People,) and The History Walk, a walk lined with aircraft, tanks and guns. This museum takes up seven acres of downtown Fredricksburg. It was named after Admiral Chester W. Nimitz of World War II fame. |
