Bluebonnets The bluebonnet is the Texas state flower. It was adopted in 1901. Then, on March 8, 1971, the bluebonnet was given legal status as the state flower.

Texas State Capitol The Texas state capitol covers 2.25 acres and has 8.5 acres of floor space. When completed in 1888, it was said to be the seventh largest building in the world.

The Lyndon Baines Johnson (LBJ) Museum This Museum features scenes from LBJ's life, including his childhood and presidency. Some of the exhibits include gifts from foreign leaders, political campaign insignia, and a replica of the oval office.
