I don't know about that particular plant, but the coolant water that is pumped back into bodies of water near power plants is extremely clean. In fact, it is often cleaner than the water pumped in. However, you are right. The water is warmer. This warm water can cause the temperature of the body of water to rise and can cause vegetation and animal life to die off. This is a problem which is present not just around nuclear power plants, but in many other industrial facilities. It is known as thermal pollution.
