Teach It!

1. Each week choose several students (at least five) to be newscasters for the week. The jobs include: local news, global news, national news, sports, anchor, weather, and whatever else you can think of. Other ideas include stocks, business, or anything you are studying.
2. The students cut out articles (at home) and present the news to the class as newscasters. Encourage them to be creative with their presentation.
3. The weatherman can use our site to get daily reports or can look it up in the newspaper. If your class made weather stations, have the weatherman create his own weather forecast and present it based on the recorded information.
