Nicaragua has witnessed a spurt of small businesses and franchises which have been extremely successful. The most well known established chains are Subway, Pizza Hut, and Dominoes which are doing very well. The first McDonalds in Nicaragua since it left over a decade ago opened on July 4 and a Burger King will be completed soon. There are also a few other fast-food chains and movie theater, auto rental and repair chains. These types of businesses will do well as will business service operations. Nicaraguan youths begin partying at a very young age since drinking and curfew laws are not enforced by the police and this has created a demand for entertainment in many different forms.
