Mariachi Music 2

In order to let you really Experience Nicaragua the team went to one of many downtown Managua restaurants where groups of musicians come at night to play. While you're sitting at your table, you signal for your favorite group to come over and then you give them five dollars. Then they will all gather around your table and serenade you with three songs.

If you're new, they'll just play whatever they feel like but if you're a connossieur than you should request your favorite. The songs they play are old native folk songs and the music is called "mariachi." The bands usually have two trumpets, bongo drums, an accordian, and three guitars and sometimes you might get a violin.
