Hotel Camino Real: If it not for its location, which is a few blocks from the Airport and about 13 minutes from the center of the city, this hotel, with its park-like and quiet setting, could be splendid. It has several conference rooms and exhibition centers which often host international gatherings. The price for a single room is about $150 per night. ***
Hotel Las Mercedes: The largest hotel in the country, Las Mercedes is also economical for its quality. Instead of a large building, the rooms are set up in individual cottages which are spread out over the large grounds. The hotel also hosts small conventions in its 1000 person capacity center. The air of a Central American tropical country club will cost guests about $80 per night.
Hotel Mansion Teolinda: Just a few blocks away from the heart of the commercial district, the Mansion Teolinda is a smaller alternative to its rivals. The motel-like rooms run at about $70 per night.

The Granda location lies on one of the hundreds of islands created when the nearby volcano erupted into the lake. It offers a restaurant as well as some water sports and a small hotel. The price is approximately 100 dollars for one night with meals included.
The San Juan del Sur site is not actually a hotel, but you can rent a furnished house with 5 bedrooms and air conditioning on a private beach for about $220. **
At present, there are no suitable apartment buildings anywhere in Nicaragua. However, there are several safe residential districts around the city of Managua with rental costs ranging from $700 to $2000 for a comfortable three bedroom house. Houses within the actual city tend to cost a lot more than their equivalent in the suburbs.
