1. Choose a currency which you would like to convert. For example, click on the Dollars radio button if you want to exchange dollars for Córdobas.

2. Enter an amount to exchange. If you enter more than two digits in the Cents field, 345 for example, the program will interpret your response to mean 3 dollars and 45 cents.

3. Click the Exchange button to convert your currency.

The buy and sell rates of Dollars are not the same. For example, you might receive 10 Córdobas for 1 Dollar but simultaneously receive only 95 cents for 10 Córdobas. This effect is caused by the fact that the Dollar is stronger than the Córdoba on the international currency exchange.

Since the Córdoba devaluates at a fixed monthly rate, this applet has been designed to give an accurate update of the exchange rate each month. Therefore, in order for this applet to be accurate, your computer's clock must be set to the correct date.
