Penelope

Penelope was the wife of Odysseus and mother of Thelemachus. She married Odysseus after 'the great meating' in Sparta.
She waited all the time during the long travells of Odysseus. Even when all the suitors were in the castle and forced her to marry one of them, she did not and held faith that Odysseus was alive.
