Charon
After a man died in the Ancient World, Hermes, the god of the
trade, brought you to the styx, the river, which parted the normal
world and underworld of king Hades. When he
arrived at the styx Charon, the old fisherman, took you over to the
other site of the river. At the other site a dog named Cerberus, a
three headed animal, guarded the underworld. Charon's origin cames
from the Etrusks. The Etrusks have had a god named Charu. Charon
was only allowed to take dead people over the styx, but one time he
made a exception: He took Aeneas over the
styx.
