century the German have stolen the acropolis of Pergamum. This century the
German have replaced a new acropolis, but not the origin. But the acropolis
of Pergamum is one of the fairest. There is a gymnasium (a sportcomplex),
temples of Zeus,
Hera and
Artemis. There's also a 16 kilometer aquaduct
built 100 AD. Pergamum was a great city in time of the Romans. To visit
Pergamum you don't have to take hours, one hour is enough, there didn't live
more than 25,000 people. But you've to take a camera with you, the views are
very nice, really. You can't find Pergamum on a map, the city is now called
Bergama.
