Ephese


Ephese is a city in Western Turkey on the Aegean See coast. It's known of the temple of Artemis, a worldwonder. Of this temple is only one collum left. But near the temple you can find a theatre with a capicity of 20,000 people and a market. There are also two stonen roads, the champions' way and the senators' road. The champions' way is a way of the big theatre to the sea, this way is threehunderd meters long. On both site of the way are standing collum, it's a real victories way. And there is the senators' road, it was for normal people forbitten to walk over this road. This road is fivehunderd meters long. It starts by the market and finish by the Capitol. This road is also decorated by nice coloured stones and on both site are standing Collum and Temples for King, Emperors and Gods. In Ephese has been living 250,000 people and was one of the greatest Greek cities. Ephese burnt down on the day Alexander the Great was born. To visit this city you have to take a few hours, because it's a big and nice city.
