Volcanoes are surely a spectacular sight. Many tourists flock to places like Hawaii and Mount Merapi to catch a glimpse of flowing lava or smoke billowing out of volcanoes. This brings in revenue for the country as the tourists spend in the country. Apart from the volcano itself, hot springs and geysers can also bring in the tourists. Many health spas utilize the natural hot springs and volcanic materials near volcanic areas to attract tourists, since many believe being covered in volcanic materials and soaking in hot springs is not only relaxing, but can also cure certain ailments. For example, the Old Faithful, a geyser in Yellowstone National Park in the US, which erupts at regular intervals is a famous tourist attraction for its observance of the clock which have not failed since the time it became the National Park's symbol.
