Tsunamis Attack
When an earthquake occurs off the coast, in the middle of the oceanic plate, the seafloor moves back and forth for several hours, displacing a large amount of sea water. This causes seismic sea waves, which will crash into the coast with great velocity, sweeping away swimmers and boats and severely damaging coastal structures. It also disrupt all supplies and make it hard for help to reach the damaged area.
The most recent case of a tsunami attack which caused great damage occured off the coast of Papau New Guinea.
