Age Development

1-7 days Blind and helpless.
Dependent on their mother.

8-12 days Eyes begin to open.

16-20 days Begin to crawl.
Eyes open wide.

21-25 days First wobbly steps.

3 weeks+ Eat first solid food.
Put a litter box next to their box.
Distinguish sounds and come up to or run after their mother.

4-5 weeks Jump.
Try to climb out of their box.
Falling reflex developes (landing on feet).
Hiss at strangers and flatten their ears back.
Play.

6 weeks+ Wrestle.

8 weeks Complete set of milk teeth.
Eat independently and are weaned by their mother.

10-12 weeks Siblings begin to fight with each other over territory and food.
Adult life begins.
