Since you are using a text-only web browser, you will most likely not be able to view the Virtual Windmill (VWM). The VWM is written in Virtual Reality Markup Language (VRML) which requires special software to view. Most current web browsers, such as Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Communicator, have this software included. If you are using a graphical web browser which does not have built in support for VRML, you can download Cosmo Player from the Sillicon Graphics Inc. website.

If you are able to see it, these components will be visible:

1. Blades -- Blowing wind pushes the blades in a circular manner
2. Generator -- Converts the rotational movements of the blades into electricity
3. Base -- Serves as a support which holds the blades and generators high enough off the ground to effectively use the wind
