  • When Einstein enlightened the world with his theories of relativity, he would forever be remembered as a scientific genius. But what was behind this genius? What influenced him? What did he think and say? Einstein was not blind to politics. He supported pacifism and helped Jewish scientists in the Nazi era. Einstein, although devoted to science, "had a life."

"The big political doings of our time are so disheartening that in our generation one feels quite alone. It is as if people had lost the passion for justice and dignity and no longer treasure what better generations have won by extraordinary sacrifices."
