| Einstein as Swiss patent clerk |
| From "Albert Einstein Pictures" |
Take a long hard look at the man they called Albert Einstein. What do you find in those dark, intelligent eyes that have seen to the edges of the universe and to the inner depths of the atom? Look into that gentle, time-worn face, and you might get the feeling you're staring at the face of genius itself. While you're doing all this deep, meditative pondering, you might be asking yourself some very important questions, such as,
- Who exactly is this guy?
- Why am I staring at him?
- What makes this funny-looking, wild-haired old man so special?
- Why should I care when I could be playing Quake II or committing
credit card fraud?
Well, in a sentence, the answer is that Albert Einstein was a really really smart guy who came up with really neat solutions to such fundamental questions as "Why is the sky blue?," "How does the Sun produce its light?," and "If a spaceship was traveling at half the speed of light, what is the probability of you being transported to a parallel dimension that is ruled by Bill Gates?" To find out Einstein's answers (except to the last one, which even I can tell you. Bill Gates rules this and all other realities. All rights reserved), stay tuned.
