How it all began ...

The Lit Cafe's development began early in 1998, when Monica Badall (team leader) began looking for a teammate.  She didn't have to look far, as she went straight to the Thinkquest Teammaker, on the Thinkquest website, and began looking at profiles.  That was when she first heard of Kelly Cannon.  Monica e-mailed Kelly, explained her idea for a Literary Cafe, and asked her to join her team.  Kelly loved the idea, and e-mailed Monica to tell her that she would love to be a member of ... team 17500

Team Leader Monica Badall is from British Columbia, Canada.  

Kelly Cannon is from Long Island, New York (USA)...
