T erza Rima
   A series of three-line stanzas, in Italian verse that contain the following rhyme: the middle line of each stanza rhymes with the first and third lines of the next stanza. ABA BCB CDC, etc.

Theme

   In a piece of literary work, the theme is the idea that the author wishes to express. Many literary devices contribute to the theme like the
plot, setting, and figurative language.

Tone

   The attitude that a writer displays in his or her work through their choice of words and details. Every piece of literature contains a tone.

   When a protagonist meets an unhappy or disastrous ending in a piece of literary work. A tragedy is the opposite of a
comedy
