Bond Street old and new is where the Designate London is. The street exists mainly of clothesshops, proprietary articles as Costello and the Englishmen´s own Westwood, but olso the other international known designates. The Royal are well-known for having their jewels made by goldsmiths of the street.

    We don´t have to say that it is the most expensive street in whole London, full of nice people, with a lot of money.

    Here is olso the big well- stocked department stores as Fenwicks, Tiffanys etc. so if you are a beautiful person, with a tight housekeeping (money) you can olso make a good shopping here.

    But what do a poor student with wormjeans in Bond Street ? We will simply visit a cafe´ in Posh London. First we shall have a look in the magazine Vogue, or another magazine, where they know a little about fashion. Simply to get some information about the season-fashion. When we have found it,and we take a look at the English weather, then find something suitable from your travel bag and add : the quilted jacked (or somethingelse to keep you worm), and an umbrella. The clothes could e.g. be grandmother´s old slip, ankle socks, lots of armstrings etc. then you´ll manage. Now we shall be ready to go at a cafe´ (you can of course enlarge it to a champagne-or cocktail- visit, it is only your budget which makes a limit). The department stores are good places to begin, as Fenwicks. The prices are cheap and the service is good, and most waiters are on their way to the top, and often know a good story or two. It is simply the only way to the top of upper classes, with out having to sign an exclusive club with more.

    We olmost forgot, that some of the big modelbureaus are situated in Bond Street. So if you did not find a fashion papey, then go for a walk and look at the latest fashion, and perhaps get the latest gossip at the cafe´s.
