Selling cigarettes to people under sixteen is not allowed.
There is a warning on cigarette packages.
No advertising on television but it is allowed to advertise in the cinema, billboards, magazines and sponsoring.
No smoking in public places like libraries, schools...
There is usually a separate area in restaurants and bars where smokers can smoke.
USA:
No smoking indoors in any business with 5 or more employees unless all employees sign a release allowing smoking.
No smoking in restaurants or bars or casinos, no matter how many employees no matter how any sign releases.
No purchases of cigarettes if under the age of 18.
Some cities have even banned smoking within 15-25 feet of the entrance of buildings to allow smoke free access to the
non-smoking public.
Some cities have also banned smoking in outdoor stadiums and arenas except for some designated areas outside the seating
area.
Canada:
Selling cigarettes to people less than 19 years of age is not allowed.
There is a law that makes it so all cigarette packages have an attorney generals warning on it.
Soon the government will enforce a law that requires all tobacco packaging to list all of the ingredients that are in the
cigarettes.
Norway:
It's not allowed selling cigarettes to people under 18 years.
Smoking is banned in restaurants, cafes, bar… But there are special places for smokers.
Advertising of tobacco products is not allowed.
Germany:
Germany is a country, which has almost no restrictions.
Advertising of tobacco products is allowed.
You can smoke wherever you want except in some public buildings but there you got your "cigarette rest areas" where you can
smoke.
The only restriction is that selling cigarettes to person under 16 is not allowed.
Greece:
Tobacco products can't be advertised on television.
Anyone can buy cigarettes and smoke.
There are very few restrictions in public places.
Croatia:
In all hospitals smoking is banned because of patients.
Violators must pay 400 KUNA if the inspectors find them smoking.
Slovenia:
People under 16 can't purchase cigarettes.
Smoking in public places is not allowed except in separate areas where smoking is allowed.
Smoking is not allowed on trains, buses and planes.
Smoking is not allowed in all government buildings.
There is a warning on each cigarette package.
Advertising is not allowed except on places where cigarettes are sold.
