Our contest team includes three high school students with our teacher
of computing and two University students as instructors. Our teacher
of computing Mr. Pregeljc Marko two years ago gave the proposal for
this project but it was too late then to take part in that contest.
Since the beginning of this school year I was looking for someone
interested in this task. Finally last November Peter, Sandi and Matija
decided to work together as a team and we also chose the topic for our
project then. Being aware of destructive effects of that bad habit we
find the topic SMOKING KILLS very impressive for everybody.
Peter, 17, from the town Vipava near Ajdovscina, the third year
student at the Secondary school in Ajdovscina.
For the last two years I have been spending hours and hours on
Internet but before that I was engaged by BBS where I made many new
friends.
Hobbies: I like listening to music and skateboarding.
Sandi, 16, from Ajdvscina and the second year student at same
Secondary School.
I have been working with my computer for four years and with Internet
for almost two years.
I like cycling and exploring caves.
Matija, 17, from Ajdovscina and the classmate of Sandi.
I like computing, especially Internet but I also like sports. I have
been training handball under a coach regularly and from time to time
I play basketball with my friends. I started working with computers
7 years ago and I have been working with Internet for 2 years.
Marko, 30, married with two children, with the education of
University degree full-timed employed as teacher of computing and
Maths at the Secondary School in Ajdovscina.
I have been working with computers for about 15 years, with Internet
for 3 years.
Hobbies: reading books, cycling and climbing
Ales, 20, from Ajdovscina. After finishing Secondary Technical School
for Computing I have been now the second year student of Computing at
the University in Ljubljana.
I started working with computers almost 10 years ago.
In my spare time I am interested in sports, I have been training
caratee, I like climbing and in winter skiing.
Bostjan, last year student of Electronics at the University in
Ljubljana. I have been working with computers for 15 years, with
Internet for about 5 years.
My hobbies are making models, collecting stamps, logo technics and
space technology.
