![]() We used two booklets to write the
majority of the texts, but we also know a lot about this theme. A
great help was the research made by World Health Organisation (WHO).
For writing HTML documents we used program NOTEPAD, but for graphics (.JPG, .GIF) PaintShopPro and Adobe PHOTOSHOP. The page is tested and also made for viewing in resolution 800X600 and at least 16-bit colour palette. If you view the page in smaller resolution (640X480) pictures look like a disaster and a ruler appears at the bottom of the page… Similar happens if you use only 256-colour table. Then different spots appear especially on .JPG pictures. On the other hand, the page remains the same if you view it in higher resolutions. It's only possible that text on some pages moves a line or two higher or lower. Graphic look also does not change if you use a better colour palette. To view this page we suggest NETSCAPE Navigator 4.x, because the page was usually checked with this browser. The page was also checked with browser MS Internet EXPLORER but only once, and we found out that at display some undesirable things show up. The main problem is the ruler at the bottom, which appears unnecessary, because the width of the page is adapted to the resolution 800X600. Also, we were surprised by the movement of the contents for a line or two up or down, because we thought the Navigator an Explorer are the same about this. We only expected some changes at JavaScript, but there were no problems. The page was written in code-table LATIN 2 (ISO-8859-2), so we suggest Slovene visitors of our page to set this possibility in the browser [NAVIGATOR: View - Encoding - Central European, EXPLORER: View - Fonts - Central European]. This page is also nice to users of old browsers.
JavaScript actually checks at the beginning which browser you use
and so it does not download unnecessary pictures. We also didn't
use any frames, because some older browsers do not accept them.
Some changes are made only on the page STATISTICS with so called
IMAGEMAP, and JavaScript that opens new windows, what is not
supported by older browsers. Our main page is surely kind enough to old browsers. But if any troubles appear, like slow download or some troubles with errors on our page, then we suggest you to look at our text-only version. Text-only version includes all the texts that are in this main page the only difference is, that text-only version doesn't include images, anti-ads and workshop, which is made with CGI script. Once again, thanks for visiting our page! If you like our pages and you would like to say something about them to us, authors, then use our Guestbook or send us an e-mail. ![]()
