HIMILAYAS

These are part of the Himilayas. The Himilayas are a mountain range that lie in the north east. They protect India from the cold winds of the north. The ice from the mountain tops melts into rivers that provide water for irrigation, the mountains also keep the moonsoon winds in India and they are a natural barrier from invaders.
