Q1) How do you feel about the British—have they helped you?
I fell that the British came here to exploit the resources of India. Yes, they have helped by unifying the country and creating an infrastructure for development

Q2)What fascinates you about the British culture and what doesn’t?
Their logical linear thinking, commitment and courage to their convictions. This misplaced sense that the world is largely Anglo-Saxon does not fascinate me.

Q3)What do you think would have happened if the British weren’t here?
India may yet have been a number of small countries some highly developed and some not so.

Q4) Would another culture have colonized it? If so which one?
I don’t know.

Q5) Would we be fighting amongst each other?
Yes, we would be fighting amongst each other.

Q6)How do you feel on the 50th Independence?
I feel that we have matured as a nation and a democracy and also survived for 59 years as one single country.
