Id-Uz-Zuha orBakri Id
Id-Uz-Zuha or Id-Ud-Dhua popularly caller Bakri Id or Id Ebaqr ia a day of thanksgiving to God by means of sacrificing some animal like a goat, sheep, camel or bull. This month of the year which is considered propitious for pilgrimage to Mecca. Id-Ul-Zuha or Id-Ud-Duha are essential muslim festivals when thousands gather at mosques all over the country to offer prayers. Id-Ul-Fitr popularly known as Id is a festival celebrated on the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Hijmi year since the time of Prophet Mohammed. Fitr means breaking the fast of refraining from fasting, while Id means happiness. The festical thus marks the end of the fast during the preceding month of Ramzan. Muslims regard this month as one of the great bounty from God.
