Although Xena, the character that Lucy plays on screen is a very good role model, it is Lucy Lawless who is the true role model for women around the world. She is not carried away by her success, and balances her career and family very well. She is very generous, donating a lot of her time helping children around the world who are unfortunate. I think that the reason that she has kept her normal life is because she is the kind of person who really actually cares about others. She is a good mother and a great actress, and she is not afraid to take challenges. She is not waiflike, and does not exercise because she wants to lose weight, but more because she enjoys exercising. Also, she really cares about her fans and thinks of them as her equals!
