Though, personally the ratings of some tv programs have not really helped me in the past. I feel that they are rather effective to some level. In today's society children need rules and regulations. TV ratings is a regulation which i believe is very judicious. TV ratings also should be taken more seriously. I feel that if every parent in America took into effect that they would actually look at the TV ratings, and monitor the ratings of their children's programs, TV ratings will become extremely effective.

I believe that television ratings are helpful if used correctly. When the television stations take the time to add them to programs and parents blatantly ignore them, then one should not be aloud to complain about the violence in programming.
