The best response is B.  The justification is given in the fifth paragraph.  Although C may seem like the correct answer, the author never actually -states- that she believes in rigid control.  However, she does make the statement given in choice B.

B - point out the author's favorite television programs.
C - give a few examples of inappropriate shows.
