A genetic disorder/disease is passed down through heredity from one generation to another, like traits and similarities.  Many disorders/diseases are genetic, although some are not as deadly as others.  We are lucky enough to have found a cure for some of them.   Many other genetic diseases can be treated with medicine or drugs to help control them, although no one has found a way to stop these diseases from spreading.  We have included five diseases in our web site (hemophilia, cystic fibrosis, sickle-cell anemia, huntington's disease, and cancer), but there are many more!  Out of those five, cancer is definitely the most severe and common disease.
