Embellishment
In the manner of M. C. Escher, extra illustrations can be added to a tiling of shape outlines in order to add visual excitement or to show how shapes resemble certain objects.

The addition of small dots at the vertices of the equilateral triangles establishes the structure of the overall tessellation
