Notes: This Cubist work of art is almost completely divided into separate, distinct polygons. Since these polygons do not repeat, this work of art is not a tessellation. However, if you view this image from a distance, it seems almost like a pattern of diamonds and triangles. This cubist work shows an example of the role of geometry in art.
