Return to About This Site.

We have included several features to make your visit to Fizzics Fizzle more enjoyable and rewarding. Some of these features require the use of certain World Wide Web browsers. You are currently using [an error occurred while processing this directive] as your web browser.
  • Our stylish layout works for all resolutions down to 640x480 and is quick to load even on a slow Internet connection. The site pages display well on all browsers, including text-only browsers.
  • If you click on images or equations that are part of the main text, you will be able to see just that image or equation, allowing easy printing without the text. In addition, this allows text-only browsers to download images and equations that they otherwise would not be able to view.
  • The Bookmarks feature allows you to keep up to five of your favorite pages on the contents bar for quick and easy access. Just click on the Bookmark This Page on Your Contents Bar link on the top right corner of the page to add the current page to your bookmarks list. In addition, the Bookmarks Manager allows you to remove old bookmarks.
  • The Meeting Forum allows you to post messages to ask questions or even answer other people's questions concerning physics and science. Interact and learn with people around the world.
  • The Physics Links page allows you to add your own physics or science related links and resources.
  • If you know what you are looking for, you can try our Search feature. Just type in the keywords that you are looking for and click on the Search button to search through the entire contents of Fizzics Fizzle.
  • The Customize feature allows you to adjust the font typeface and size of text for readability and viewing pleasure. This feature works on Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 and Netscape Navigator/Communicator 1.1 and higher.
  • FizziCalc is a full featured calculator appropriate for many of the calculations that you will encounter. This feature works on any Java-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape Navigator/Communicator 2.0 and higher).
  • Try the Games and Fun Stuff section, where you can play with various toys that demonstrate different aspects of physics. There's also a multilevel adventure game that steps you through all the topics covered in Fizzics Fizzle. You can still have fun while learning physics! This feature works on any Java-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape Navigator/Communicator 2.0 and higher).
  • Fizzics Fizzle remembers the page where you last were reading. If you quit and come back later, just click on the link in the main page to resume where you last were. This feature works on any JavaScript-enabled browser (such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 and Netscape Navigator/Communicator 3.0 and higher).
  • Many concepts in the content pages are visually represented by three-dimensional images that are linked to VRML models. Just click on the image wherever specified to view and manipulate the VRML model. This feature works on any VRML 1.0 enabled browser.
  • The Collapse/Expand Contents feature collapses the content bar to allow you to have more space to read the main text on smaller resolution monitors. It's also great for printing our text without the table of contents taking up much of the paper. Just click on the << Collapse Contents << button on the top left corner of the page. This feature works on Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher.
