The year is 2050, and the world is a very different place, due to a huge number of useful, and not so useful inventions that have hit the market. Let's see how your invention will fit in.

The first thing to do is to think of a category that you want to develop an invention from. Our five categories are:

• Home Inventions - Inventions that will be useful around the home.
• Industrial Inventions - Inventions for the workplace or industry.
• Computer Science - Computerized high tech inventions.
• Transport Inventions - How will we get around in the future?
• Other Inventions - Have you got other ideas?
