Below are 2 circuit diagrams illustrating the usage of transistors as amplifiers and switches.



Can you see what is going on in the circuits? On circuit 1, we used a PNP transistor and on the 2nd circuit, we used a NPN transistor. Try making a amplifier circuit using NPN transistors and a switching circuit using PNP transistors.
