Below are 3 circuit diagrams illustrating the usage of resistors, light emitting diodes and the effects of resistors in series and parallel.
After you've built these circuits on a breadboard, flip the switch. What do you notice about the brightness of the LED's? Which circuit has the brightest LED? Dimmest? Do you know why?
