lateral faces of a prism:	The faces of a prism that are formed by parallelograms.
lateral surface:	The curved surface between the bases of a geometric figure.
legs of an isosceles triangle:	The two congruent sides of an isosceles triangle.
legs of a right triangle:	The sides forming the right angle of a right triangle.
linear equation:	An equation whose graph is a line in which the set of points has the coordinates that satisfy the given equation.
linear pair:	Two adjacent angles whose outer rays are opposite rays.
line of symmetry:	The reflection or mirror line of a reflection transformation.
locus:	The set of all points that satisfy a given set of conditions.
