deductive reasoning:

Inferring from general principles to prove a statement.

diagonal:

A segment which joins two non-consecutive vertices.

diameter:

A chord that contains the center of a circle.

dilation:

A transformation which produces an image similar to the original.

disjunction:

The logical union "p or q," where p and q are statements
